At approximately 3:45pm Thursday a Vidor School bus pulled out Melrose St. near the high school and struck an SUV that was traveling down Orange St. which is still under construction.
The bus struck the passenger door of the SUV, where a juvenile was sitting. They were transported to a Beaumont hospital to be evaluated.
Both drivers and the approximately 20 kids on the bus were not injured according to Chief Johnson.
