This week local high school golf teams traveled to Chambers County, to compete in the Anahuac Invitational. First place medalist went to North Shores, Ryan Rios, shooting a 1 under par 71, followed by PNG’s Jaxon Wolf’s 75, and Orangefield’s Lincoln Parks 77. Orangefield’s team, consisting of Lincoln Parks (77), Cole Sanches (88), Peyton Revia (97), Branden Greenway (99), and Gavin Gravett (106), posted a team total of 361, finishing 3rd, behind 1st place PNG and 2nd place Hardin-Jefferson. The LCM team consisting of Maddox Manuel (88), Carter Foreman (96), Braden Wilson (109) and Keaton Jones (100), posted 393. While the Bridge City’s team of Tyler Fults (99), Luke Campbell (97), Braydon Denison (99), Kevin Cullums (107), and Keagan Trahan (99), posted a 394. Next week, the Varsity boys will be competing in the Larry Paine Memorial Invitational, at Bayou Din golf course.
The Lady Bobcats traveled to Brentwood Country Club Thursday to participate in their second tournament of the season. The following are the scores for our teams:
