Calls To Services (June 27, 2022, to July 4, 2022): The Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) answered eighty (80) calls.
Jail Population: We currently have 16 inmates in the following Jails, 8 housed in Newton, 8 housed in Jasper.
Jail Bookings: Last week there were 4 individuals booked into the NCSO Jail.
COMMUNITY NOTICE: The Newton County Sheriff’s Office with the Jasper/Newton Juvenile Probation Office are hosting a SUMMER HORSE CAMP at the Newton County Fair Grounds, 313 Fair Park St. Newton, Texas 75966. Camp Dates: July 19th – July 22nd 2022 – Times: 8:30 am-1:00 pm *****Free / No Cost **** Everything will be provided****
Deadline for Applications is July 8th, 2022. Representative from the Camp will be at the Newton County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, July 8th, 2022 from 1pm to 4pm.
