New LCJH Start/End Times Coming Soon!
Beginning Tuesday, January 6, 2026, LCJH will officially shift to its new start and end times.
New Start Time: changing from 8:20 am to 8:05 am
New End Time: changing from 4:00 pm to 3:45 pm
Why the Change?
This adjustment is designed with students in mind, helping LCJH create a schedule that is more convenient and better aligned with both the Elementary and Intermediate campuses. By bringing the schedules closer together, they’re improving consistency for families and strengthening supervision by bringing staff on duty earlier. This shift will support increased student safety and enhanced supervision.
A Huge Shout-Out to Transportation!
A big thank you to our Transportation Department for making this improvement possible. Their hard work in creating a more efficient pickup and drop-off experience—including becoming fully staffed, acquiring additional buses, and strengthening route coverage with new technology (SmartTag) has paved the way for this positive change. We appreciate their commitment to ensuring every student gets to and from school safely.
Plenty of Time to Prepare
With the change coming in January, families have ample time to plan ahead. Everyone’s encouraged to review their routines, talk with students, and reach out with any questions as LCJH prepares for a smooth transition.
