Orange County Sheriff Merritt and Chief John Tarver along with Captain Cliff Hargrave welcome Matthew Wappler (second from right) as the newest Criminal Investigations Detective. Wappler has worked his way up through the department. He started as a Corrections Officer in the Orange County Jail and he has been employed on a full time basis for nearly two and a half years as a Patrol Deputy.
