
Mary Dee Miller Denham, 86, of Orange, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2026 at her home. She was a cherished mother, Nan, sister, aunt, and friend, and she will be deeply missed.
Mary was born in Urania, Louisiana, on March 14, 1940 to John and Juanita Miller. She dedicated her life to her husband and family. She was the ultimate caregiver, always helping and giving of herself endlessly. She loved her Lord and made sure her family and friends knew what a Loving Gracious God she served. She was a faithful member of the West Orange Church of Christ in West Orange, Texas. She loved daylilies and her yard was always in bloom. She drove a school bus for Little Cypress Mauriceville CISD for 30 years, where she poured her love into every child who ever stepped foot on the bus and their families.
Mary is survived by her son, Bryan and wife Jackie of Orange, Texas; her daughter, Melissa Perkins of Orange, Texas; her 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Faulkner of Eldorado, Arkansas, and Johnnie Bennett of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bobby Denham; sons, Dwayne Denham and Bruce Denham; and great great granddaughter, Maggie Wells.
Mary will be laid to rest at the Barrett Family Cemetery in Bernice, Louisiana.
Celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary’s memory to the West Orange Church of Christ for their missionary work.
