Man Murdered On Church St. (Update)

UPDATE: The man shot and killed by Shontasia Garrett is Dalvin Levi, 25.

On April 1, 2023, at about 2:30 AM, the City of Orange Police Department was dispatched to 1800 Church Street in reference to a “shots fired” call. Officers arrived on scene and located a male lying in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont where he was later pronounced deceased. During the investigation, Shontasia Garrett, 28, was placed into custody for Murder. The identity of the victim has not been released as of this post.
