A Jefferson County Grand Jury has indicted 35 year old Christopher Honkomp of Orange for Solicitation of a Minor.
On May 17 deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, along with the FBI and Beaumont PD, conducted an undercover operation where officers posted ads on a site known for human trafficking. Officers were contacted by Honkomp, who agreed to pay a fee for sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 18. Honkomp entered a Beaumont hotel room where he was arrested.
The charge is a second degree felony.
