Tommie Lee Freeman, Jr., age 64, native of Pineland, TX, and resident of Orange, TX, transitioned on April 27, 2025.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at Goodwill Baptist Church, 102 Yellow Pine St., Pineland, TX. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Goodwill Cemetery #2, under the direction of Coleman’s Mortuary.
Tommie Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Lee Freeman, Sr. and Vola Freeman; siblings, Ladonna Martin, Ricki Freeman, and Byron Agustus.
Tommie Lee leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Charles Powell of Orange, Texas; one daughter, Tachelle Freeman of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Duraygo Tommie Lee Freeman of Houston, Texas, and Charles Powell, Jr., of Orange, Texas; two brothers, Genoa Freeman (Bobby) of Longview, Texas, and Don Freeman of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Denise Redd of Orange, Texas, and Carolyn Freeman of Pineland, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and in the circle of life a host of friends.
