Laura Emily Willey, 39, of Orange, passed away on May 11, 2020, in Port Arthur.
A private graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2020, at Jett Cemetery in Orange. Officiating will be Pat Clark, Jr.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on October 9, 1980, she was the daughter of Samuel Lindsey Willey and Sylvia “Sissy” Rose (Hargis) Willey. Laura graduated from West Orange Stark High School in 1999. She is lovingly remembered as the life of every party and for her vibrant personality. Laura had a golden sense of humor and a talent to make friends wherever she went. Her spontaneous and silly nature attracted everyone to her. She was incredibly beautiful inside and out and was smart beyond compare. Laura was a loving daughter, a nurturing mother, a kind sister and a loyal friend.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, David and Carolyn Hargis & Ernie and Winnie Willey.
She is survived by her mother, Sylvia “Sissy” Willey of Bridge City; father, Sam Willey and wife Christy of Orange; children, Emily and Payton Ranolls; and siblings, Hammond Willey and wife April, and Rebecca Willey; along with nieces and nephews, Tucker Flatt, Cael Flatt, Willow Flatt, Waylon Willey, and Natalie Willey.
