Kevin Wayne Cunningham was born June 24, 1973 and passed away January 8, 2026, at the age of 52.
Kevin was a man of quiet strength, steady faith, and deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
He found his greatest happiness outdoors, whether fishing along the water’s edge or hunting at daybreak, enjoying the peace and patience those moments brought. A devoted servant to his church, he faithfully ran the sound system, always working behind the scenes to make sure every service went smoothly. His heart for service reflected his strong faith and love for his community.
He was known for his love of good food, especially crawfish, and for savoring slow mornings spent on the front porch with a cup of coffee in hand, watching the world wake up. Those porch moments were often filled with quiet reflection, stories, and the comfort of familiar routines.
Above all else, he cherished his family. His presence was steady, his love constant, and his example one of dedication, humility, and care. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, faithfulness, and love that will be carried on by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Mary Cunningham; children, Kenneth Paul Miller and wife Whitney, Ann Villalobos and husband Jason, and Chancey Carter and husband John; grandchildren, Myli Miller, Bowen Miller, and Zach Carter; mother, Connie Cunningham; along with numerous extended family and friends,
He is preceded in death by his father, Wielly Cunningham.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Pinehurst Pentecostal Church, 2111 40th Street Orange, Texas. Pastor Marlin Marcantel will be officiating.
