First responders were able to save a number of dogs and cats from a house fire that occurred Monday. The call came in around 6pm from 3131 Timberlake in Bridge City.
No one was home at the time of the blaze. Orange County ESD No. 2 personnel said that when they arrived, the home had heavy smoke and fire coming from the front of the home. Mutual aid came from West Orange and Orange County ESD4.
The home sustained major fire and water damage. The cause of the fire remains “under investigation,” according to Orange County officials.
