One man escaped injury from a house fire Wednesday after he was awakened by a smoke alarm.
The call came in around 3:30am and Orange County ESD 2 firefighters responded to 2835 Oilla Road in Orangefield according to Captain Elgin Browning.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time and no injuries have been reported.
Firefighters from OCESD3 and 4, Pinehurst and West Orange fire departments assisted battling the blaze.
