Several bus loads of Orange County track and field athletes will be competing at Regionals this weekend with a chance to go to State in Austin.
The 4A Meet will be at Bullard High School. Orangefield will be in the 3A Regional in Huntsville and Deweyville will participate in the 2A Regional in Kingsville. If the competition isn’t enough, competitors will have to deal with the weather. Wet and windy conditions are forecast for Friday and chilly temps and wind are scheduled to follow on Saturday. The top two finishers and the best third place finish on the track will advance to the University of Texas on May 14-16.
