The Orangefield Lady Bobcats went 2-0 on day two of the Lufkin Turf Classic defeating Lufkin 3-1 and Silsbee 5-2.
Teal Kibodeaux went a complete 5 innings giving up 1 unearned run on 3 hits with 8 strikeouts vs Lufkin. Offensively, Kibodeaux also added her first Lady Bobcat homerun to tie the game up. Madi LaSalle came in clutch with a 2 RBI single to walk the game off. Aubree Gamblin added a double, and Jocelyn Droddy, Hallee Becker, and Hannah Bisson, and Kenli Vacek all added hits.
Against Silsbee, Kibodeaux pitched a complete 6 innings giving up 1 earned run on 4 hits with 7 strikeouts. Aubree Gamblin led the offense with a double, a triple, a walk, an RBI and a run scored. Teal Kibodeaux had a single and a run scored. Laila Agerton had a 2 RBI double. Jocelyn Droddy had a single, an RBI, and a run scored. Hallee Becker had a single and a run scored. Madi LaSalle added a single.
