Bridge City (2-0) beat WOS (0-3) 71-7. Rylee Hebert had 14, Kaylee Britten 10. Kyla Blagburn led WOS with 6.

The Lady Bobcats traveled to Hardin-Jefferson to take on the Lady Hawks in a tough, physical matchup. Despite a strong effort, the varsity fell 58-48. Mikayla Locke led the Lady Bobcats with an outstanding performance, finishing with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Brooklyn Wagoner added 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals, while Olivia Smith also chipped in 10 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Lady JV Bobcats came up short losing 27-25. Ainsley McAlpin paced the JV with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. Brooklyn Bishop followed with 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Paxton Oldham contributed 6 points and 4 rebounds. The Lady Bobcats will look to bounce back next Tuesday as they host district opponent Kirbyville. The JV team will be back in action as well, traveling to LCM with tip-off set for 4:00 p.m. The varsity Lady Bobcats will play at home after the JV Boys, with tip-off expected around 5:45 p.m.
