Cameron Bilbo hit a two run double in the top of the eighth as the LCM Bears beat Bridge City 7-5 to split the district series. Bilbo finished the game 3-5 with 3RBI’s. It was also a big game for first baseman Marco Bandiero who was 3-4, a HR and 3RBI.
Dean Reynolds started the game for LCM (1-1). He gave up 5 runs, 3 earned on four hits with three walks. Parker Seago shutout the Cards (3-1) in the final 4.1 innings with 6K’s. Aidyn Mulhollan got the start for BC, pitching 2.1 innings and Austin Frederick finished the third. Landon Reeves pitched the final 5 innings.

Orangefield’s Jason Bodin and Colton Myers combined on a 5inning no hitter in a 15-0 win over Hardin Friday. OF secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the fourth inning. Matthew Johnson, Adam Tran, Brycen Tait, Gavin Pollock, and Rusten Traxler powered the big inning with RBIs.
The Bobcats racked up ten hits. Camden Fountain, Traxler, and Logan Cheek each collected multiple hits. Coach Tim Erickson was happy with his defense as they committed no errors in the field.

Vidor shutout Silsbee 4-0 behind the complete game pitching performance of Logan Morris. Austin Cadroy was 2-3 with an RBI and Jarrett Odom was 1-3 with 2RBI’s.

Lumberton beat WOS 11-1 (5). Robles, Wilson and Anderson had the three Mustang hits. The Raiders used three pitchers who threw a 3 hitter with 8K’s.

The Bridge City Cardinals beat Jasper 6-1 as Carson Fall throws another no hitter, her second of the week. Fall struck out 18 in the win.
BC had four hits. One each by Haley Munoz (also 3 walks), Nicole Sasser, Lexi Nugier, and Anna Autrey. Jasper’s A. Coleson struck out 8 in the loss. The Bulldogs run was scored after K.Sells walked, stole second, and then came home on an error throw to third. BC improves to 4-1 and will play at WOS Tuesday.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Hardin Lady Hornets tonight 12-3 in Hardin. Abigail Curphey got the win on the mound giving up no earned runs on 6 hits with 7 strikeouts.
Hallee Becker led the offense with 3 hits, 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Charlee Sanches had a homerun with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Aubree Beck had a double, a walk and 2 runs scored. Alysen Vincent had a single. Abigail Curphey had 2 singles, a walk and an RBI. Rylee Dougay had a run scored. Abby Broussard had a hit and 2 runs scored. Paris Becker had an RBI and a run scored.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 6-1 in district play and travel to Kountze on Tuesday at 5/6:30.
