Damon Ray Martin was born October 18, 1984, and passed away January 6, 2026, at the age of 41.
Damon was known by all who knew him as a tireless worker with a strong sense of responsibility and pride in everything he did. No matter the task, he gave his best, always providing for his family with dedication and perseverance. Beneath his strong work ethic was a genuinely good heart, kind, caring, and always willing to help others.
Above all else, Damon loved his children and family. They were the center of his world, and he found his greatest joy in spending time with them, offering guidance, laughter, and unwavering love. His presence was a source of strength and comfort, and his devotion to his family will never be forgotten.
Damon also had a creative spirit. He loved to draw and express himself through art, finding peace and joy in putting his imagination on paper. Music was another passion of his, and he enjoyed playing music as a way to relax, connect, and share a part of himself with others.
He is survived by his children, Dawson Ray Martin, Drake Ray Martin, Desmond Ray Martin, Nova Martin, and Queen Martin; parents, Donald Ray Martin Sr. and Dorothea “Peanut” Martin; brothers, Donald Ray Martin Jr., and David Ray Martin and wife Heidi; and nieces and nephews, Dustin Ray Martin, Selena Ray Martin, Alexis Ray Martin, Derrick Ray Martin, and Dylan Ray Martin.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Pinehurst Pentecostal Church 2111 40th Street Orange, Texas. Reverend Marlin Marcantel will be officiating.
