A Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper pursued a vehicle for evading on Bob Hall Road, two miles east of U.S. Highway 87 on May 27.
The preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 1:54 a.m., a 2008 Chrysler passenger car was traveling north above the posted speed limit. It is reported that when Trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the Chrysler, it began to evade from law enforcement. The suspect vehicle crashed at the intersection of Bob Hall Road and Allie Payne Road.
The driver, identified as 28-year-old Marcus Walker of Orange, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for pre-existing injuries. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
