The Orangefield Bobcats made the two and a half hour trip to Diboll Friday and came home with the 31-21 win.
Christopher McGee started the scoring for OF with a 46 yd touchdown run. The Lumberjacks respond with a 48 yd run for a score but missed the PAT for a 7-6 score. Matthew Rainey added a 30 yd field goal in the first quarter to give OF a 10-6 lead.
OF gave 2 points back on a snap that went over the punters head and then Diboll took the lead 15-10 after another score with 2 minutes left.
The Bobcats regained the lead with 2:30 left in the third when backup QB Mason Gonzalez took it in from one and OF added a two point conversion to go up 18-15.
McGee would score his second TD of the night on a 12 yard run to take a 10 point lead 25-15. But Diboll scored with 3:30 left but missed a 2 pt. attempt and OF would lead 25-21.
McGee added his third TD, a 22 yd scamper, with a minute left to seal the deal for the Bobcats with a 31-21 win.
McGee finished with 157 yds. on 18 carries as the (3-3) Bobcats travel to Liberty next week to open district play.
