Early Sunday morning vandals spray painted the newly turfed football field along with the press box and concession stands at LCM High School.
“It’s so disappointing to see this,” Supt. Stacey Brister said. “We have two white males on camera just after midnight, one wearing glasses. We’re still going through footage but the damage is really hard to look at.”
The Bears play at Lumberton Friday and their school colors were used to do the damage to the facilities.
“Of course not knowing who did it, we don’t know where they’re from. But we’ve informed Lumberton about the situation.”
