With the conclusion of the local powerlifting season, the LCM Bear Iron team looks forward to the regional meet in Navasota on Thursday, March 6th starting at 4:30 PM. Seven lifters qualified and they are: Aiden Snyder in the 123’s, Isaac Pinder in the 165’s, Dilon Cabrera in the 181’s, Eddie Winters Wilhite in the 242’s, Nathan Childress in the 275’s, Cooper Smith in the 308’s, Carson Phelps in the 308’s.
The following LCM Lady Bear Iron team members qualified for the regional meet in Bay City on February 27th for the “Unequipped” division, and March 1st for the “Equipped” division. Seventeen girls will compete at regionals, fifteen in the “Unequipped,” and two in the “Equipped” division. The “Unequipped” lifters are: Alasia Allen, Faithlyn Allen, Makenna Baze, Karlee Cooksey, Zay’Audria Epps, Laken Hardy, Irelynn Kyle, Kaylan Moore, Cassandra Neville, Isabella Nicholas, Cailynn Nichols, Lanie Roff, Jaiden Romar, Kiari Walsten, and Victoria Young. The “Equipped” Lifters are: Madelyn Harding, and Gracelynn Smith.
