
Last night, the Bridge City Powerlifting Team participated in the Lumberton Invitational Meet. It was yet another victory for the Lady Cardinals by placing first and the boys placed third. Individual results are as follows:
On the girls’ side:
Sophomore, Shania Dies placed first in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 550 pounds.
Junior, Tina Radinovic placed 4th in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 455 pounds.
Junior, Me Visesio placed fourth in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 660 pounds.
Junior, Carlee Dearing placed first in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 740 pounds.
Freshman, Lacey Pender placed fifth in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 575 pounds.
Junior, Autumn Magnuson placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 645 pounds.
Senior, Emily Warren placed first in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 920 pounds.
Freshman, Chloe LeJeune placed second in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 645 pounds.

Sophomore, Nolan Moore placed first in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 730 pounds.
Freshman, Alex Williams placed third in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 560 pounds.
Freshman, Floyd Martin placed second in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 680 pounds.
Senior, Hollis Snell placed second in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1045 pounds.
Junior, Tyler Tran placed second in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 980 pounds.
Senior, Colt Poole placed fourth in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1210 pounds.
Junior, Zayne Trahan placed first in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1320 pounds.

The Bridge City Girls Powerlifting Team will be getting ready for the Region 4 Division 2 Regional Meet which will be held on March 2 at Sweeny High School. The Boys’ Powerlifting Team will be getting ready for their regional meet, which will take place March 5, at Anahuac High School.
