High schools in Orange County are preparing for graduation in the time of a pandemic. The Texas Education Agency has given the schools guidelines for outdoor ceremonies that include social distancing, even for the graduates.
Vidor will graduate on May 29 beginning at 7:30pm at the football stadium. Vidor’s AIM Center High School will graduate May 30 at the football stadium beginning at 7:30pm.
West Orange-Stark High has set a date for June 5 at Dan R. Hooks Stadium beginning at 6pm. more
Orangefield’s Class of 2020 will graduate on Saturday, June 6 at Ford Park beginning at 3pm. Tickets will be required for the graduation service. Each graduate will receive ten (10) guest tickets. (5 tickets) Under the pavilion (group of 5 seats per family). (5 tickets) First come first serve basis in the grass area.
Bridge City High will have graduation June 20 at 8 p.m. at Larry Ward Stadium.
Little Cypress-Mauriceville High will also have graduation June 20 with a time of 8:20 p.m. at Battlin’ Bear Stadium.
Just north in Newton County, Deweyville will graduate May 29 beginning at 7pm at the football stadium. more
