Congratulations to the members of the 2026 All-KOGT baseball team. As always, Orange County baseball players made the decisions tough.
The 3A Orangefield Bobcats made another long run that ended in the Region Finals while Bridge City and Vidor represented the 4A district in the postseason.
Carson Gonzales is our MVP after an outstanding season who recorded 100K’s with an ERA of 1.37. Also congrats to Slade Landry and Matthew Johnson for being selected to the THSBCA All State Team. Johnson was a Second Team choice and Landry made Third Team.
We had some great entries for walk-up song of the year but our pick is CJ Riojas’ “Mi Gente.” We also give an RIP salute to longtime PA Voice of the Cardinals Bill Dixon who we lost in February after an illness.
