Around 4:30pm Friday, first responders were call to an accident near Hwy. 62 and 12 in Mauriceville.
Witnesses at the scene said the motorcycle was westbound when the vehicle pulled in front of him. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a Beaumont hospital in serious but stable condition.
