Opponents feared Anna Kelly’s right arm when she played volleyball at Bridge City and that has carried over into college play.
A 5-11 freshman at the US Marine Merchant Academy, Kelly leads the team in Kills, she’s third in Digs and fourth in Service Aces.
The Mariners, out of Kings Point, New York, are currently 18-3 and 9-1 in the Skyline Conference.
The MVP of the 2025 All-KOGT Volleyball Team, Kelly’s service obligation will include at least five years in the maritime industry or military reserve after graduation.
