Charles Mitchell of Katy, TX, was born in Opelousas, Louisiana on Saturday, March 14, 1949. He died Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Katy, TX.
Growing into manhood, he served in the U.S. Army and was Discharged With Honors. Working years were spent at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Plant. He retired after 55years.
Survivors include his wife Barbara (Stewart) Mitchell of Katy, son, Dedric Mitchell of LaGrange, TX, daughters, Shelita Mitchell of Houston, TX, Donita Mitchell of Austin, TX, and Jaquita Robinson and Tonya Robinson, both of Katy, 19 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
