Orange County Road and Bridge officials are advising the public that the East Roundbunch Swing Bridge is closed to vehicular traffic until further notice due to electrical damage sustained during the severe weather that impacted the area last week.
Crews are working to assess and repair the electrical damage necessary to safely return the bridge to service. Until repairs are completed, motorists should plan alternate routes and avoid the bridge closure.
The bridge will remain closed until the necessary repairs have been completed and officials determine that it is safe to reopen to vehicular traffic.
