Jack J. Farmer, 69, of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
A longtime resident of Mauriceville, Jack dedicated many years of his life working as a boilermaker and welder. He was known for his strong work ethic and enjoyed classic cars and attending drag races. Jack also held a special place in his heart for the state of Georgia, where many fond memories were made throughout his life.
Jack’s greatest joy came from his family, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
He is survived by his children, Kimberly Spears and husband David of Orangefield, Texas, B.J. Farmer of Mont Belvieu, Texas, and Chase Farmer and wife Jennifer of Orangefield, Texas; his brothers, Buddy Farmer of Buchanan, Georgia, and Robert Farmer and wife April of Jasper, Texas; and his seven beloved grandchildren, Kale Spears, Kreed Spears, McKinley Farmer, Bryley Farmer, Dalton Farmer, Tuff Farmer, and Taytum Farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Annie Laura Farmer, wife Kaye Farmer, sister Ruby Farmer, and 2 brothers Jackie and Fred Farmer.
Jack will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his passion for cars and drag racing, his love for Georgia, and the love he shared with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
