The game between Orangefield and Kountze was moved to Monday but it didn’t bother the Bobcats as they kept the bus running while they beat the Lions 11-1 in five innings.
Layne Reynolds had a big day at the plate going 3-3 with 4 RBI’s. Cole Sanches and Carson Worthy had two hits each. Kale Spears, Jack Pate and Raegan Valka combined to strike out 9 Lions while giving up just two hits.
The 7-0 Bobcats will play Kountze again on Thursday.
