On Wednesday, local golf teams competed in the Anahuac Varsity Boys Invitational, which was held at Eagle Point golf course in Mont Belvieu. Lumberton finished in the top spot, with a team total of 327. Orangefield and PNG tied for second, with a team total of 340 and LCM finished in the 3rd spot, with a team total of 342.
Orangefield was led by Davey Hogg shooting a 78, to take home 3rd place medalist and Logan Anderson following up with an 83, tied for the 6th place medalist. LCM was led by Peacock with an 82 to finish tied for 5th place medalist. Schools will be back on the links next Thursday, at Bayou Din.
