Robert Wayne Williams, 71, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026. He was born on April 24, 1954 in Carthage, Texas
Robert was a longtime resident of Vidor. He was a man of faith and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. He was a member of Local 450 IUOE and spent his working life as a crane operator before retiring. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his trade. In his younger years, Robert enjoyed playing the drums, a talent that reflected his love for music and creativity. He was also very mechanically inclined working on many projects during his life.
He is survived by his cherished daughter, Dr. Crystal Williams Nock; his loving mother, Alice Dyson Williams; his brother, Byron “Butch” Lee Williams and wife Brenda; sister-in-law Charlene Williams; along with several loving nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives who will cherish his memory.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Bryon Henderson Williams; his brothers, Kenneth Dean Williams and Michael Williams; and his sister, Glenda Cooper.
Robert will be remembered by his family and friends for his hard work, his love of music, and the time he shared with those closest to him.
