GIRLS
Bridge City (6-0) beat Jasper 78-21 to stay unbeaten in district. Mia Sterling had 14, Kaylee Britten 13 and Steeley Franklin 11 for the Lady Cards. BC as a team had 29 steals.

WOS lost to Lumberton 73-24. Kyla Blagburn lead WOS with 10.

Orangefield traveled to Anahuac and won 68–19. Mikayla Locke led the way with 26 points, 9 steals, and 5 assists. Madison McCormack added 13 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds, while Olivia Smith finished with 12 points, 6 steals, and 6 rebounds. JV also had a strong night, earning a 54–16 win. Brooklyn Bishop recorded a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds to go along with 8 steals. Piper Pollet chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Kenley Copeland added 9 points and 4 rebounds. The Lady Bobcats will travel to Hardin next Tuesday to take on the Lady Hornets. It will be varsity only, with tip-off expected around 5:45 PM.

The LCM Lady Bears traveled to Tiger territory tonight to finish off the first round of district play and are headed home with a 39-30 victory! Maya Meadows had 11 points on the night; Eden Frenzel had 10, and Emily Smith had 7. The Lady Bears showed tremendous poise, fighting for rebounds, making solid decisions and again playing great team defense, holding Silsbee to just 12 points in the second half. This moves them to 5-1 and sitting in 2nd place heading into round 2 of district. The Lady Bears will take on Jasper at home on Tuesday. This will be Varsity only starting at 6:00.

BOYS
Orangefield beat Anahuac on the road 79-50. The Bobcats were led by Carson Willis with 29 points and 9 rebounds, Jackson Luker with 10 points and 3 rebounds, Kyran Morrow with 8 points and 6 steals, Jaxon Agerton with 8 points and 6 assists, and Jaden Scales with 7 points and 10 assists. The win brings Orangefield’s record to 21-3 and 6-0 in district play. The Bobcats will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Hardin. The JV came up short 41-40. Korbyn Smith scored 13 points and Will Rutledge with 12 points. The loss brings the JV district record to 5-1.
