An 18 wheeler carrying equipment for the New Orleans Saints caught fire Wednesday night on I-10.
The call came in around 11:15pm of an 18 wheeler on fire on I-10 eastbound on the Womack overpass in Orange. The driver was able to disconnect the cab from the trailer when firefighters arrived. They were able to put out the fire quickly.
It’s believed a tire blew and when the driver pulled over he found the flames coming from the trailer with equipment for the New Orleans Saints football team.
