Tuesday around lunchtime fire departments from Orange and Little Cypress were called to 1101 Hickory Trails in the Cypress Bayou neighborhood.
Colton Baker’s wife and children were able to get out of the home without injury.
Baker said he had someone over to do some work on the back corner of his home when he got a call from his wife saying the house was on fire.
The Bakers moved in back in November 2024. The home suffered heavy smoke and fire damage.
