
Baseball and Softball teams started tournaments on Thursday with good results, including back to back yard shots by the Bears and Cardinals.
At the Sweeny Tournament the LCM bats were on fire, pounding out 26 hits in two games. The Bears beat host Sweeny 7-0 behind Tess Erickson’s 2 hitter with 11 K’s. Eden Frenzel and Lexi Moss with 3 hits each.
LCM also defeated Danbury 10-4. Ava Wright was 3-3 with 2RBI’s. Jacelyn Cook and Lexi Moss had back to back dingers.

At the BC Tournament, BC tied Anahuac 6-6 as the Lady Cards had four errors. The Cards then beat H-F 3-0 behind another no hitter from Carson Fall (her second against HF in 3 days). Fall and Anna Autrey provided the offense with back to back jacks.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats went 1-1 on the first day of the PN-G tournament losing to PN-G 10-4 and defeating Vidor 8-2.
Vs. PN-G:
Charlee Sanches had a solo homerun. Halle Becker, Aubree Beck, and Haylee Spears all had runs scored.
Vs. Vidor:
Hallee Becker had 2 hits, a walk and 3 runs scored. Paris Becker had a double, a run scored and an RBI. Aubree Beck had a hit, 2 RBIs and a run scored. Charlee Sanches added her second homerun of the day, a double, 3 RBIs and a run scored. Abby Broussard drew a walk, and had a run scored. Paisley Reeves had a double and a run scored. Abigail Curphey reached on base by a hit by pitch, and Brennah Lee would score. Haylee Spears and Alysen Vincent both added hits.
The Lady Bobcats move to 5-4 on the season and will face Lumberton at 3:00 and Hamshire Fannett at 4:45 tomorrow at PN-G.

At the PNG Tournament, Vidor lost to OF 8-2 and defeated Lumberton 12-4.

At the WOS Tournament, the Mustangs lost to Deweyville 14-0 and the defeated Kelly 16-5. The Lady Mustangs play EC and Memorial on Friday.
