This week local high school golf teams traveled to Bayou Din, to compete in the . Larry Paine Memorial Invitational. Orangefield’s Lincoln Parks shot 69 to bring home the 1st place medalist. PNG’s Jaxon Wolf finished 2nd with a 72, followed by Warren’s Peyton Tupper’s 75. Orangefield’s team, consisting of Lincoln Parks (69), Cole Sanches (81), Peyton Revia (92), Branden Greenway (93), and Gavin Gravett (103), had their best team score of the year (335), finishing 3rd, behind 1st place PNG (307) and 2nd place Nederland (332). Bridge City’s A team of Brayton Taggre (84), Luke Campbell (82), Tyler Fults (91), Braydon Denison (93), and Keagan Trahan (94), posted a season best (350). While the Bridge City B team of Aidyn Mulhollan (97), Kevin Cullums (84), Drake Blackwell (111), and Carson Richey (106, posted a team total (398).
