Four Orange County basketball teams are participating in the Bayou Border Battle in Lake Charles.
Three teams played Friday and Vidor will play Saturday at 11:45am against Beau Chene.
LCM took care of business, beating Vinton 47-40. Braylon Lewis lead the Bears with 14, Jonah Fuller, 13 and Dane Hawk 12.

BC Cardinals beat New Iberia today 55-29. BC was led by Aaden Bush with 22 pts, Jagger Carlin with 12 pts & Braydon Denison chipped in with 9 pts. Cardinals (4-3) host PNG on Tuesday 12/3.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats had a strong performance Saturday against West Hardin and came out on top with a win 78-29. Olivia Smith had an amazing performance with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists. Mikayla Locke also had a good day with 13 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. Madison McCormack had 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Finally, Rebecca Durbin had 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 block. The Lady Bobcats will start district play on Tuesday (12/3) and will take on the Hardin Lady Hornets before leaving for the West Waco Tournament that begins on Thursday. JV will start at 4:30 and varsity will follow after that.
