Around 12:30am Monday morning Orange County Sheriff’s deputies along with an officer from Pinehurst PD went to the 3000 block of Paloma St in an attempt to locate Trenton Barlow. Barlow was known to have several outstanding felony warrants out of Louisiana. Once at the location, individuals on the property confirmed he was inside the home.
Kristina Powell answered the door. She would never confirm that Barlow was inside and just kept stating he did not live with her. She was advised if she refused to cooperate and Barlow was in the home, she would go to jail for harboring a fugitive. With the information from other parties on the scene and property owners permission, they entered the home and he was asleep in the bedroom. Both were taken into custody.
Trenton Barlow’s warrants out of Louisiana included Unauthorized Entry, Criminal Trespass, and Illegally Possessing Stolen Items.
