The Orangefield Bobcats were back in action on Saturday in West Orange-Stark. The Junior Varsity got the day started with a win. They outlasted the Mustangs by a score of 34-22. Leading scorers for the Bobcats were Nick Rogers with 12 and Carson Willis with 10.
In the following game, the Varsity would continue the Bobcats winning ways, pulling out the win 68-48. A huge 2nd quarter that would see the Bobcats outscore the Mustangs 28-6, including going 5-5 from 3 point range, would carry Orangefield to the victory. The top performers for the Bobcats were Jaden Scales with 20 points, 3 assists and 2 steals. Zane Wrinkle with 19 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists. Griffin Thomas with 17 points (5-7 from 3), 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Anchoring the defense was Kadyn Rucker, logging 6 rebounds, 4 steals and 5 blocks. Orangefield will be back on the Court Tuesday at home against Kelly and will travel to Big Sandy High School in Dallardsville for a tournament on November 30-December 2.
