The other half of our 8th grade white team traveled to Mauriceville Thursday night. The Panthers beat the Cardinals 20-6. Offensive leaders were Judson Carlin with 1 touchdown and 100+ yards passing. Hayden Sleeman with a few good catches. Atticus Moore with some good runs and a few catches. JJ Rougeau with a few good runs. And all the offensive line played great giving Carlin ample time to get the passes off. Defensive leaders were River Snell with 4 sacks and a handful of tackles. Trystan Davidson , Nick Boring, Dylan Bradley, Adison Woods, and Samuel Richey all played well. Bridge City Middle Schools 7/8 white teams will play a Red/White game Tuesday 9/14 at 5:00 at home. The 7/8 grade red teams will travel to Anahuac on Thursday 9/16 with a 5:00 start.

Bridge City Middle School football traveled to Orangefield Tuesday night.
The 7th and 8th grade White teams played a combined game with the final result being a 16-16 tie. Offensive leaders were Collin Butler, Collin Moody, and Evan Jackson who had two touchdown runs and both two point conversions. Defensive leaders were Grady Weldon, Antony Garcia, and Kadence Spears.
The 7th Grade Red team lost a close battle with the Bobcats 18-16. Offensive leaders were Alex Chappell, Slade Landry, Keagan Trahan, Joel Williams, and Drake Blackwell. Defensive standouts were Alex Chappell, Caleb Heraldez, and Hudson Hoffman.
The 8th grade Red team lost a tough battle 6-0 to the Bobcats. The defense was the star of the night, keeping the Cardinals in the game and giving the team a chance to win at the end of the game. The defense was led by Abraham Munguia, Asher Richardson, Trey Bradley, Connor Riojas, Hunter Ford, and Braxton Lynam. Offensive leaders were Austin Frederick, Jonah McElroy, and Abraham Munguia,
The rest of the 8th grade white team will travel to Mauriceville on Thursday night. The Cardinals will then travel to Anahuac next week.
