More than 160 Entergy customers were without power around 1pm Tuesday after a one car accident. The accident occurred on FM1136 near Brewer Road when a vehicle left the roadway, took down a power pole and then traveled another 100 feet before striking a fence.
The woman driving the vehicle was said to be okay as she refused medical treatment.
Entergy customers from Brewer Rd. south to I-10 on FM1136 were affected. Entergy said they hoped to have power back on by 5pm.
