Shirley Harris, age 77, a resident of Orange, Texas passed away October 4, 2020.
She is survived by her children Robert Lee Harris, Jr. and wife, Melissa of Orange, Tx; Reba Shannon and husband, George of Orange, Tx; Curtis Harris and wife, Michelle of Michigan; Chris Harris of Orange, TX; Russell Harris and wife, Angie of Indiana Randy Harris and wife, Christi of Orange, Texas; Martha Milligan and husband, Patrick of Orange, TX and Lisa Taylor and husband John-Dee Taylor of Orange, TX along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Bonnie Ferguson, Ulysse Schexnayder and Milton Cormier, Jr. and wife, Darlene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Harris, Sr., parents, Walter Schexnider and Theresia Broussard Schexnider; siblings, Rose Mae Broussard, Mary Grimes and Rosa Bell Hawes.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8th at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 West Fourth Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Interment to follow at Riley Smith Memorial Park, DeQuincy, Louisiana
