After the first play of the game there was little doubt the Orangefield Bobcats were ready to play Friday night.
Chase Broussard ran 53 yards for the score as the Bobcats beat Kipp 58-0.
And talk about spread the ball. Eight different Bobcats touched the end zone.
After Broussard’s score, Cade Brown scored on a 20 yd. run. Gunner Jones’ extra point was blocked.
Hunter Ashworth then scored on the next possession from four yards. The Heston Puckett rushed for 28 and a score on the next drive. Jones made both XP’s and after one quarter it was 27-0.
Kaiden Dubose then joined in with a 31 yd run. Clayson Choate then flexed the Bobcats special teams with a 52 yd punt return to make it 41-0 at the half.
Kaiden Evans opened the third quarter scoring with a 39 yd touchdown. Then Dwight Davis got into the box score with another 39 yd. TD to make it 55-0 in the third.
Jones would add a 23 yd field goal to cap the game and the win 58-0. OF will host Livingston (1-0) on Friday.
