James “Jim” Arthur Bishop, age 65 of Orange, Texas, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Beaumont Texas with his family by his side. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Dorman Funeral Home.
Jim was born on April 12, 1954 in Canandaigua, New York to Eleanor and James Bishop. James was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Navy for over 28 years.
He was very dedicated to his job, and loved to work. His work family will miss him dearly. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his dogs, working in his garden and wood working. Jim loved to go hunting and going on family trips to the lake.
Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Jacqueline of 33 years, his three daughters; Brandy Bishop of Orange, TX Alicia Craig and her husband Doug of Orange, TX and Christina Gribbin and her husband Jeff of Tenaha, TX. Six grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters. As well as numerous friends that will miss him dearly.
