Robert Reid, who was once in administration at West Orange Cove ISD, has resigned as Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Beaumont. He held the position for 14 months.
In a statement, Bishop David Toups announced the resignation of Reid and a leadership transition for the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Beaumont. Bishop Toups extends his extreme gratitude to Mr. Reid for his dedication and contributions, especially his faithful presence in the schools and the community, which has strengthened the Catholic education presence in Southeast Texas.

As a mission diocese, the commitment to providing quality education while maximizing the resources available remains constant. Therefore, Bishop Toups is pleased to announce that Ms. Alison Kiker will step into the role of Superintendent of Catholic Schools while remaining Principal of St. Anne Catholic School in Beaumont. She will primarily oversee the 3 grade schools and be available to assist the administration of Msgr. Kelly Catholic High School. Ms. Kiker brings exceptional leadership and expertise to this position, having been principal the past 11 years at St. Anne Catholic School with a total of 31 years in education. With a proven track record of transforming St. Anne Catholic School into a thriving community, she has demonstrated outstanding skills in curriculum development, instruction, and school administration. Ms. Kiker’s commitment to Catholic education reflects the dedication to nurture academic excellence and spiritual growth in all the Catholic schools, the students, faculty and staff.
We invite the community to join us in praying for both Robert Reid and Alison Kiker as they embark on their new journeys. May God continue to bless our schools, all our faculty and staff, and our students and their families.
