At approximately 10:30a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a multiple vehicle crash at the intersection of FM 1135 and Japanese Lane in Orange County.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 2014 Hyundai passenger vehicle was traveling southbound on FM 1135. A 2016 Dodge pickup truck was traveling westbound on Japanese Lane. The driver of the Dodge went through the intersection and struck the Hyundai.
The driver of the Hyundai, 21-year-old Emilee Bellow of Orange, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Dodge, 48-year-old Elier Lopez of Pasadena, Texas, was not injured in the crash.
