Thursday Region 5 Executive Director Dr. Danny Lovett showed up in Bridge City to congratulate Christy Cunningham as the Region 5 ESC Elementary Teacher of the Year. Her credentials will now be put up against 20 other semifinalists in the state who have qualified for Texas Teacher of the Year.
