Ladies and Gentlemen it’s time for the better late than never 2025 ALL-KOGT Football Team. Congratulations to everyone selected to this year’s team and thank you to the coaches who provided assistance to putting the 2025 team together.
Wow what a season! We had some incredible individual performances and some darn good team performances with WOS reaching the State Championship game and Bridge City winning their first district title in 10 years.
Individually you had our MVP, Khelvy Jefferson, becoming the first Mustang RB to rush for more than 2000 yards (2498) while also setting the season TD record (34) and the career rushing mark in just his junior year.

Abraham “Mungy” Munguia, like Jefferson, was a human highlight film that included our Play of the Year with his 95 yd run against Lumberton. An opposing coach told me during the season, “I’ve never had to gameplan to stop a receiver before.”
Kaleb Menard set a school record, and maybe a Southeast Texas best 172 tackles at Orangefield. While his teammate, sophomore Kyran Morrow impressed on both sides of the ball leading the Bobcats in interceptions (5) and receptions (36). Playing well on both sides also earned KD Reed of LCM our Utility player award.
Hudson Hoffman put the questions of “who would play QB” at Bridge City to rest early after the graduation of Hutch Bearden. He had almost 200 completions and 2500 yds. on the season. And that’s with Ashton Sumrall for more than 1100 yds.
Mason Manning capped off a great career by breaking the all-time rushing record on his final game in Orangefield.
And when I showed a coach the All-KOGT Team the first thing he noticed was, “Wow what a group of linebackers. Studs.”
So congratulations to all of the members of this year’s team! Thank you for the memories you gave us during the 2025 season.
